Vassilis Labrinos was born in 1946 and grew up in Heraklion. He
graduated from the 1st Gymnasium of Heraklion in 1964, and studied
Political Science at Panteion and then Law at the University of
Thessaloniki. After completing his military service, he has been working since 1974 to date in Heraklion as a lawyer. He is married to Vaso Danezis-Labrinou and has two children.
In 1982 he was elected Councillor with the independent Combination Phoebus Ioannides. In this capacity, he was a member of the Board of DEYA until 1986,
where he served then as a citizen with special knowledge in this field
until 1990.
For
a decade, from 1978 to 1987, was elected member of the Board of the Lawyers
Association of Iraklio and since 1999 until today, for five consecutive
terms, President. All
this time he was elected member of the Steering Committee of the Lawyers
Associations of Greece, and from 1999 until today ever elected Board
member of the Account Enhancement Lawyers Provinces, of which he was
president for five times, with an annual term.
