Organised with the intention of promoting our artistic potential, raising public awareness of the artistic creativity and attracting foreign artists and visitors, the Second Pancretan Street Art Festival opens on 1 July, once again transforming our city into an open stage of creativity and fun. Over the five days of the Festival, artists of all kinds (painting, icon-painting, graffiti art, sculpture, music, theatre, dance, performance, cinema, video art, photography and more) are invited to offer the public the chance to get to know them and their work, in selected open-air or indoor areas of the city, allowing the people of Heraklion to watch the creative process live and up close.
